Canada Schwoix Trip 2008
Sorcerer Lake Hut
Escargot peak
The high of -10f day on the glaciers

Mining water from the lake
Group living at its finest
3000' of Heli Only Terrain - NOT

The commute home
Switch gears to Rogers Pass, 20km up the road. Sorcerer was great hut,
except as we found out the
night before flying in, it has the unique quality of being the only hut with a
5pm curfew, and also
helicopters most every day. Probably the safest unguided hut in BC if
you're into that sort of thing.
Our philosophy is more like Ed Abby's;
"A venturesome
minority will always be eager to set off on their own, and
no obstacles should be placed in their path; let them take risks, for godsake,
let them get lost, sunburnt, stranded, drowned, eaten by bears, buried alive
under avalanches - that is the right and privilege of any free American."
